Bottomless Women At Party

Bastioli Inventor of the Year 2007!

Bastioli during his speech at our cooperation in the course of "green procurement" of March 2, 2006.

The Italian company Novamont , which is based in Novara, won the award for Inventor of the Year for 2007 awarded by the European Commission.
The jury praised the team led by Bastioli which belong Vittorio Bellotti, Luciano Del Giudice and Roberto Lombi for their invention of biodegradable plastics water resistant starch-based and renewable raw material. Bastioli, which holds over 70 patents, is the first woman to receive the award and his team has won the category for small and medium enterprises. Under the brand name Mater-Bi, the factory produces and markets several lines of biopolymers completely biodegradable in different environments, such as in composting and soil. Many areas of use: from the shopper bags for collecting waste from food trays to diapers, from cutlery to dishes to glasses. Items that can be purchased at our cooperative Buzzoletto Viadana (MN) via Codisotto No. 8, or at the store "Ecostore" site at Viadana in via Sanfelice No. 55.

Replace the plastic with biodegradable materials was a challenge winning, just think that only in Italy each year consumes 300 thousand tons of plastic sacks and bags for only the equivalent of 200 thousand tons of oil and 400 thousand tons of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere. To Dr. Bastioli, also President of AssoSCAI (Association for the Development of Environmental Competitiveness of Enterprises) which has its headquarters and secretariat in our cooperative, and his research team to express our warmest congratulations prestigious award granted in Europe and elsewhere.
