Saturday, February 10, 2007, at the General Curia of Fatebenefratelli hospital in Rome, the Prior General, Father Pascual Piles, has introduced the new Director General Hospital "San Giovanni Calibita" Fatebenefratelli Isola Tiberina. This is the first lay Director General Hospital since 1584, which since its founding and the beginning of hospital of Fatebenefratelli Isola Tiberina Island. E 'Carlo Maria Cellucci, 46, married with two children. He graduated in Economics from the LUISS University of Rome, former Manager of Management Control at Fatebenefratelli Isola Tiberina. The new head takes place between 'Gemini Corradini.Fino now, for five centuries, positions of responsibility of the hospital were always covered by the Hospitaller Brothers of St. John of God, following in the footsteps of founder, have continued for hundreds of years (and not only in Rome but throughout the world) the mission of hospitality and hospital care for the sick. Hospital "San Giovanni Calibita" is the oldest of Fatebenefratelli hospital in Italy: once the seat of the Curia and of the same General of the Order has always been a landmark for the city of Rome. With approximately 26,000 annual admissions and 900,000 outpatient, the hospital is accredited with many excellent: the best known one for gynecology and obstetrics, which enables the facility to record more than 4,000 parts per year. The new Director General takes office on 2 April.
